slip knot: loop, twist, pullthrough, insert, tighten

• loop - make a loop with the yarn

• twist - insert your finger through the loop from below and twist the loop

• pull through - grab the yarn with your finger and thumb and pull it through your twisted loop

• insert - insert your needle from the left to right through your loop

• tighten - pull the two ends of the yarn to tighten your knot
